Jay Leno is protesting against Sultan of Brunei

Jay Leno is angry with the Sultan of Brunei. The Sultan is known for his huge autoverzameling for years to rot, but that is not what Leno so angry.

Hassanal Bolkiah has an almost frightening collection of the most expensive cars. So there were in 2010, reportedly 574 Benzes, 452 ferraris and 382 Bentley’s in his garage. The Sultan seems, however, hardly to see, for since the collapse of the investment company of his brother rot a part of the collection slowly away. Sell seems to be the only option.

In addition, he has enough other things to worry about. Leno was part of a group of protesters who on Tuesday at the Beverly Hills Hotel (also owned by Bolkiah) recorded for the human rights in Brunei. The Sultan performed there recently, the Sharia, and that means that the smallest crime can lead to the amputation of your hand. Homosexuality and adultery may even be punished with stoning.
