According to resource The Verge, Google is working on the virtual keyboard for Apple’s mobile devices. The main highlight of the keyboard would be the search functionality with different options to attract more iOS users into the proprietary Google search engine.
Google Keyboard for Android
According to a source, the keyboard has been under development for “months”, but it is unclear when Google was going to produce it and are there any plans at all.
Like the Android version, the keyboard to support typing by gestures, when the user slides a finger on the keyboard, and the system suggests possible words. By clicking on the Google logo given access to a traditional web search. Apparently, there is also a special button to search for animated GIF-pictures and just pictures, too, using Google search.
Hand keyboard for iOS will be different from the version for Android that supports voice search, but has no functions text search and search by images.
