The angular design of the DeltaWing, we know, of course, of its very successful Le Mans participation from 2012, but the creators of the unconventional racer wants him now also turn to passenger.
DeltaWing Technologies has the Batmobile-like design transformed into a regular street-legal car, with lighting and a ‘cabin’ where four people fit into. The nose is less long and a bit dull, but still very narrow, while the back is very wide outage.
This design, which has the goal of a low air resistance to achieve, together with an unspecified four-cylinder petrol engine -with some 85 to 110 hp, to ensure that the consumption at 3.36 litres per 100 km comes out (70 mpg).
The little DeltaWing Technologies, from the American Braselton, has, however, not the illusions that they are such a production itself can build and profit in the market. They want the technology and the design, therefore, licensed to other car manufacturers offer. Or there is also a OEM stand up to the DeltaWing in production is the question.
DeltaWing has no prototype built, for the time being is the street legal version, only in rendering form.
