It’s going to really happen. The British car manufacturer of fast cars go back cars.
Yet it seemed the deal on paper a fine given. The real proof that TVR went back out we had to wait and see. The carmaker drops today, however, an e-mail out the door with the irrevocable evidence. There is again a production plant to be built in the south of Wales.
The story is even a bit nationalistic. The Welsh government is doing namely a penny in the bag with the brand of a new life. The total investment amounts to over 30 million British pounds for the next five years. TVR is looking at this time for a precise location of the plant, the contract a few days ago officially signed.
TVR has to say 350 deposits are from the (former) customers for the first new car. As already known was the sports car on the F1-inspired technique is given, including the involvement of the McLaren F1-hero Gordon Murray. Under the hood is in any case a thick V8, more details are not yet known. The coming years will see the order book is still opened for interested people. Perhaps we will in the near future, then finally a new TVR on the road to go see.
