There are few people who get away with an Italian design. Zagato is one of them, and mentions her latest creation: the Lamborghini 5-95.

After the MINI Superleggera Vision will also design house Zagato with a particular model to the Concorso d‘Eleganza Villa d’Este. They present us the Lamborghini 5-95. This car is together with Lamborghini in command of a (very) good customer built.

Collector Albert Speiss did the request for this project and saw it immediately as an opportunity to Zagato’s 95-year anniversary (1919 – 2014) to celebrate. He owns multiple creations of Zagato, such as an Alfa Romeo S. Z., Alfa Romeo R. Z., Aston Martin V8 Zagato and a V12 Zagato.

As a basis for this design was a Gallardo LP570-4, Lamborghini’s best-selling model in the last 50 years. Outside, the exterior changes there is nothing on the Lambo encrypted.

About the design, the opinions firmly divided. I think only the nose less successful. The back and the 360-degree continuous window are in my opinion easier on the eye.

UPDATE: Zagato let know also a converted Aston Martin DBS, bring it to Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The Zagato Centennial Coupe.
