Bargain? McLaren F1 GTR for €7.320.000,-

A bargain, when you consider that recently a ordinary F1 for 7.5 million was sold.

The McLaren F1 remains an icon, a delicious eindbazenmobiel, built in a very limited edition and coveted by many. Partly because of shooting prices the last few years up, earlier this month we wrote about a McLaren F1, which for 7.5 million euros of the owner changed and today we have a bargain for you.

It is, in fact, to the most potent of all McLaren F1’s, the GTR version from 1997 of which only 10 pieces were built. The F1 GTR is not straatlegaal but features a 6.0 litre V12 with 640 hp at a weight of 910 kilograms. The conscious instance has 10,000 kilometers behind the back, but that’s probably mainly circuitkilometers.

The F1 GTR from 1997 features the extended bodywork, the so-called “Long Tail” was a characteristic of the car which took part in the FIA GT championship, but also the nose is a lot lower than in the previous model. The car is €7.320.000 euro is worth according to the seller, and that seems to be a bargain if you it reflects on the sale of the aforementioned “ordinary” F1 for 7.5 million euros of the owner changed. An auction earlier this year put the price, however, in a different perspective: in January, you changed a Longtail at an auction by owner, for €3.9 million. This ensures that the asking price of this seller is still somewhat high. Incidentally, publishes the seller in his ad, no pictures of the car itself but of an earlier model F1 GTR in connection with the rights of the photographer.
