While it really is clearly visible that the boat is going, right?
Why else would you take a car from wood? Morgan does, of course, for years, but Toyota does weird about it. First a little introduction. The Toyota Setsuna is an electric concept for the Design Week in Milan, mainly built from Japanese cedar. The frame was made from a birch tree. So expect no production models, this is just a fantasy of the geitenwollensokken Toyota.
The use of wood is, according to Toyota, a symbol over time changing the relationship that humanity has with the car. Wood is -like the auto industry – thus a labour intensive material, if you do it long enough, let alone. A smoked sausage, also, seems. But well. The name Setsuna means “moment”. All very woolly so, there is supposedly no wood.
However, see the trolley there is still quite nice. The front did me in a strange way reminiscent of the front of a Spyker. Decent photos are still missing, but lovers may from 11 april to Milan to fly the concept to behold.
