Spyker C8
Spyker shows in Geneva the C8 Preliator.

The car looks in terms of appearance is not so innovative, and under the hood is all antique. The Preliator is the spiritual successor of the Aileron. You know, that other successful model. As we this morning already could show carries the supercar the well-known 4.2 V8 engine block from Audi. This is linked to an optional automatic six-speed ZF gearbox. A manual gearbox is standard. The suspension comes from Lotus and the brakes are from AP Racing. Moreover, ceramic copies an option.

If Spyker is successful, they want fifty pieces to build the Preliator, which is Latin for fighter (fighter/warrior). The name is a tribute to the vliegtuighistorie of the brand, the “Fighters” were airplanes that Spyker between 1914 and 1918 they produced. But the name is also symbolic for the fight of Spyker, the eternal battle to have the head above water to keep.

The model will be ordered in 16 different colors. Against over-payment can also alternate colors to be chosen. 0-100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds and the top speed is 322 km/h.

Will they this time be able to make it?

UPDATE: we have some more info!
