For each Disco Volante that Carrozzeria Touring build an Alfa Romeo 8C die. Is that ‘for the greater good ” or they die a senseless death?

The appearance of the Disco Volante divides from the start, and opinions. It is a tribute to the Alfa Romeo C52 Disco Volante, a concept in 1952, also by Carrozzeria Touring was built. The car is seen here, with the modern variant in the background.

A characteristic detail that is clearly taken from the original, the bodywork of the coach partly over the front wheel. Some find the modern Disco is a great thing, but others do not like it. This latter is then further aggravated by the sad fact that there is a copy of the beloved 8C must die to life in the Disco to blow. Maybe it is a design that has some time to get the required. I found, for example, personally not such a successful design, but with the verschrijden of the time and seeing the car in a beautiful colour, I have my opinion adjusted.

However, in the case of the Spyder variant which is now in Geneva, save the doubt yet again. From some angles seems to be the car to beat, but what about the minutes of bubbles there are on the stern? What concerns me knocking the proportions are not at all. Perhaps, however, it is also the design of this Spyder a matter of just getting used to it.
