Five years ago, Wouter, a wish list of cars that still were missing in the global offering, and to some points in the meantime listened to. High time for a new version!
Audi R4
A small alternative to the R8, with a big blown V6 from the next generation RS4 in the middle and especially very little weight. Possibly also as a basis for a model below the Porsche Cayman.
Citroën C6 / Renault Safrane-successor
Come on, France, where remains of graceful large sled that you alternative for the S-Class should be? Itself I pulled the previous C6 designtechnisch pretty bad, but the individuality of the lines could not deny. Moreover, it prevents a ready and modern real French car, a failure as a foreign head of state comes to visit.
Renault Twingo V6
Just because we can. Renault offers the new Twingo, the drive and the place of the engine all right, now there is only a wail of a zespitter in spooned. Oh, and maybe some extra cooling, but how awesome would it be if #Teamlaurens just with a limited edition a la TwinRun would come?
A new Honda CRX-like
Mini-two-seater coupé of less than 1000 pounds with a brilliant handling and a 0-100 of less than 7 seconds Civic-money. Preferably RWD. Focused and balanced as the Toyota GT86, but probably with a smaller blown engine on board. And no hybridefratsen, that produces only benign CR-Z-like. Glad we got it finally.
Toyota GT86 with BPM-friendly engine
The current GT86 is with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder (200 hp) an excellent smijtwagen, but by the CO2 emissions of 181 g/km is not very favourable for the Netherlands in terms of CO2-tax. So because we are so very, very English: like a 1.6 Turbo with 230 hp and less emissions, so that the purchase price of more than 42 mille down to, let’s say, €34.890. Hey, exactly the starting price of the Golf GTI.
Volkswagen Bulli
Volkswagen has the public good created with a modern interpretation of the oh-so-well-known hippiebusje, and shot the idea then because you are, of course, deserves much more with the sale of Polo’s and Waves. Let them agree to take a dare and there’s a new hippiebus to squeeze out, all electric, according to hippie ideals. Place was in the ground for an arsenal of batteries.
Volvo Concept Estate production version AKA a new 850R
Because porn.
A new Z4M Coupe and M1 successor
It didn’t matter, but what a beast it was angular phenomenon that is deeply out of the hellevuren of BMW’s M division came up. Than the next-gen M1. It has been so long talked about, but still looks like BMW there is no pull in with a real sports car to come. Up to now, they spend in Munich prefer to use their time to model year grandma-mobiles and large, but especially heavy GT’s, while they are all know-how and designtalent in the house to have a dedicated sports car that the established order of his socks blows. Do agree, BMW.
MINI Rocketman
A MINI that really nice mini, with the sizes of the original Mini Cooper as the maximum size. Let BMW downsize to a 1.0 two-cylinder, and you have a winner.
Opel RAK-e production
A pure electric narrow stadscrosser with place for 1 or possibly 2) and a backpack/briefcase, and a range of 50 kilometers. With a 11 kW-charger an hour of throwing, and if you use it only in the city, this is more than enough. Possibly with interchangeable batteries.
Sporty Kia
Doesn’t matter which, as the Koreans, but can prove that they are not only A, but also B able to say. In the last few years we are bombarded with concepts to which everyone ‘oehh’ and aaah’ says, and then they build they won’t (GT, Stinger), and it is on to the next concept, the design department, it turns out. Let Kia but the deed to the word. With the ProCeed’ GT and they were just fine on the road.
A Seat with an identity of its own
Nothing further to add. The same applies to Alfa Romeo with the 4C, the correct path is taken.
