Long legs? Then you no longer folded on the back seat of the MINI Cooper. There will be a five-door variant in the 2014 model.
MINI promises that the five-door the same driving pleasure as the standard version, and there is nothing wrong with that, as we experienced earlier this year. One of the biggest critiques was the chronic lack of legroom in the back seat and the small kofferbakruimte, but that has MINI fortunately taken to heart.
This five-door is with a 3982 millimeter over sixteen inches longer than the normal MINI. That while the 2014 model is in itself a piece was larger than its predecessor. MINI is less mini. There, you get a lot of extra space for back. The back offers the five-door, seven inches more legroom, while the kofferbakinhoud with 67 litres has grown and is now 278 litres.
Furthermore, we can of the five-door expect what the standard MINI offers the same looks, driecilinders in gasoline and dieseluitvoering and a sporty version: the Cooper S or the Cooper SD. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo in the S delivers 192 horsepower. The SD receives a new block: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo diesel with 170 hp and 360 Nm of torque.
MINI has not yet revealed what the five-door should cost, but we can ‘m at the end of 2014 in showrooms expect.
