Lancia now will be dead by Marchionne

Sergio Marchionne confirms that Lancia is dead, because he had to choose between Lancia and Alfa Romeo.

The ruling followed a question from a viewer who asked why Lancia vehicles to more delivered for the heads of state of Italy. Marchionne responded that in the future, Maserati will continue to deliver.

In a video that was made during the Festival Economia Trento that last weekend took place in Italy, Sergio Marchionne confirmed that Lancia is dead. In Italian, he states that Lancia for ten years, lose money, and that Lancia is no market outside of Italy. He also mentions that he has to choose between Alfa Romeo and Lancia and Alfa Romeo, the better candidate was to survive. There would be billions necessary to Lancia to breathe new life into international terms, and billions to invest in Lancia is simply too big a risk.

A sad confirmation of what was already obvious: Lancia is dead.
