It is a sad day for lovers of beautiful women on circuits: the gridgirls going to disappear.

The organization of the WEC (World Endurance Championship) have this decided. The WEC Endurance championship, where the 24 hours of Le Mans is part of, and is one of the most expensive racing classes in the world. The reason for the cancellation of the gridgirls (also known as “pitspoezen” or “umbrellagirls”) is that the organization is not more of this time.
