Google has identified the 30 semifinalists of the contest Doodle for Google 2016

Google has named the 30 children selected for the finals of the annual contest “Doodle for Google”, which is held in Russia for the fourth time. “Doodle for Google” 2016 devoted to travel to Russia for the transport of the future.

The contest involves children aged from 6 to 17 years. The task was to decide whether to draw a Doodle on the theme “On the future transport across the country” in a special template at the address google.ru/doodle4google and fill in the application form.

According to Google, this year the contest received almost 4,000 entries. The winners will be selected in three age categories — from 6 to 9 years, 10 to 13 and from 14 to 17 years. Employees have chosen 300 of the best works, and then a special jury selected the 30 semifinalists. From 21 March to 3 April ordinary users can vote for the best work in each of the three age categories.

20 April 2016 at the Museum of entertaining Sciences “Eksperimentanium” in Moscow will be announced the three finalists and the winner. The best drawing 26 April 2016 will appear on the home page Google.ru.
