After years of speculations and concepts is the first SUV from Maserati is a fact. We dive a little deeper in the design.
With the Levante live on your retina, there are a number of things. The Italians struck at the time with the Quattroporte M156 in 2013 a total other way in terms of design. It is almost self-evident that the Levante from this idea is drawn. We wrote more than ten years ago about a possible SUV for Maserati. It is therefore no exaggeration to say that it has lasted. Below are five points that we noticed at the sight of the Levante in the flesh.
1. Asian styling
Lines of the Mazda CX-5 and rear lights which I also can’t really place. Would you indeed gambling that this is a Maserati would be, based on the image above?
2. Sloping roofline
A recipe that we often look back at sportier SUVS. Long passengers in the back seat will be less a fan of the styling. You can have the Maserati, however, not blame. It will give the Levante a tough look.
3. Fold
Another present element is the choice for the sharp ‘fold’ in the design. Again a well thought out choice. The SUV, of course, his own face.
4. Lighting
The Italians opted for round units under the regular headlights. It fits the huge grill, and lights off nice. Chapeau.
5. Space!
A Maserati with a shitload of space. That is rather unique. The Levante beach offers 580 litres of kofferbakruimte. Ideal for a premium, relocation, or vacation.
Or it very is that the Levante a few Asian ingredients I’ll leave in the middle. The SUV looks in my eyes more beautiful than the Bentayga. Or the car actually drives is a second. The Italian appearance helps in any case. Let’s hope for Maserati the Levante the verkooptopper is going to be where the spaghettihappers already very long on hope.
