Earlier this week we reported about the cuts that Volkswagen wants to implement in order Dieselgate to cope. Now there are more grimy details released about this bezuinigingsoperatie.

The diligent workers of Volkswagen are afraid that senior management will give them the shirt. That fear is now realized, one of the proposals of the management is to the t-shirts that are part of the uniform to purchase.

Brend Osterloh, within the management responsible for the interests of the employees, it is not a sleek plan:

“Volkswagen can be billions of save, but that our colleagues under their overalls now bare-chested have to work, there we do not go in.”

What do we think of this, Volkswagen too far, or is it just normal that employees have their own t-shirt? Or is it a useful outline between the managers themselves to this symbolic point immediately to grant to the employees but at the same time, however thick, to save on the really important things?
