Toyota 4500GT
A Toyota that is on everything it seems, except a Toyota.

That is perhaps the correct description for this 4500GT ” in 1989. The Jap was at that time lukewarm, and that has perhaps to do with its pronounced appearance. Perhaps it was the world in ’89, not yet ready for the special compartment-drive.

The 2+2 was in that year during the International Automobilausstellung in Frankfurt for the first time to the world shown. Under the hood is a 300 hp (390 Nm) of the strong V8, linked to a manual zesbak. Toyota promised a reputed top speed of up to 300 km/h. The car was 1450 kg, it is not a very heavy boy. There were two notable features to the concept. So, the 4500GT on an adjustable base frame and the mounted tires were run-flat variants. By means of sensors could the tire pressure be read. When something is not in the hook, it would be the driver in the interior a call. Yes, we still talk about a car from 1989.

Partly because of the ‘hatred’ has the Asians never make it to a production stage kicked in. Sin. The 4,4 meters long 4500GT was perhaps not the most beautiful girl, but so fond is the undersigned ‘m still not.
