After the absurd 993 GT(2), the brute 996 GT2 and the all-breaking 997 GT2 (RS), also get the 991-generation of soon to be company of the absolute kingpin within 911-land. The GT2 RS on the pictures is undergoing tests in, you guessed it, in extreme cold, but what else is there to tell about this brutal in the making?

Well, the bodykit is different from the other 991 models, and also the carbon same boot is missing on this edition of the GT2 RS. The rear wing would be adjustable and bladiebla, see for yourself on the photos.

Important is what is hidden in the butt. There are rumors that the biturbo 3.8 six-cylinder boxer no less than 700 hp. It is this power 80 hp stronger than the previous GT2 RS, and a whole 120 hp more powerful than the current Turbo S.

RWD seems to be a zekerheidje, a manual gearbox, however, not (yet). It is located in the line of expectation that Porsche is also in this powerhouse of a PDK gearbox great, although it’s possible that the ‘tank is not calculated on so much torque. The previous GT2 RS was also a manual transmission.

Expect the production version of the new GT2 RS is not for the end of next year, as the 991-series zoetjesaan towards his retirement. Who can’t wait that much power, need to contact RUF.
