Damn Cohei, I still had like said be careful with those pictures, imaimashīdesu!

The snazzy Suzuki Swift is no stranger to the Dutch scene. Especially since the model of 2004-2010 on the market came with some extra design-sjeu, is in every suburb somewhere a Swiftje for the door. With some ” styling cues of the MINI you can see the model fine in the parking lot of the AH, but also for the window of the local jeanswinkel.

After the model that was supplied starting in 2004, came in 2010, a completely new model on the market that doorborduurde on the looks and the success of its predecessor. Now we are again six years later and so it is, according to Suzuki time for the next generation, which we are now a few pictures have managed to reach (the observant reader @jochempie reports that the pictures of a clay model).

On the front we see a large grille like that nowadays fashion is on cars. At the rear is the most striking change of the optical ‘floating roof’ by the black C-pillar. This styling element, we see more and more back. Range Rover used it for years, but also recent Citroën’s and the Opel Astra Sports Tourer we find it back. Funny how something apparently quickly a trend can be. Despite the new elements the new ‘giant Suzuki are still visible as Swift.

In terms of engines, there are likely to be at least two petrol engines with 1.0 or 1.4 liter capacity. The current Swift has in regards to that, what’s more cc’s, respectively, 1.2, or 1.6 liters. But if the new model just as smooth riding as his two ancestors, you can go with the 1.4 a bit of fun. The introduction of the new model can be found in early 2017 location (via Auto Express).
