If you can make new plans, call up a few of your friends and do something together. Getting manicure-pedicure is a good option for preps. If you are low on cash, then sleeping over at a friend’s house or going window shopping are great options. -

If you have already made plans, dress cute. Note that there is no school you can wear whatever you want. But of course you do not want to dress way out of your comfort zone when it comes to showing or hiding skin. If you have the body for a mini skirt (not too short) a fancier tank top, and a pair of flats are a great option. But if you are not thin you can still look great. A short skirt (a few inches above the knee) would flatter most leg types and a blousy, colorful shirt will look cute, too. Add a cute pair of flats and you are ready to go. Being preppy doesn’t mean you are of a certain size. You can be preppy either you are a skinny or a plus size girl. -

If you do not have plans, it is sometimes nice to be alone on the weekends. So here is what you can do:- Invest in cute lounge clothes. These do not have to be expensive. The brand TAREA (sold on Rue 21 stores) has a bunch of cute clothes to lounge in. If you are thin then boxers for girls and a tank would be cute and comfortable. If you are not thin (or just feel like covering up more) you can find in these stores ultra cute roll leg lounge pants and over sized tees. Get your lounge clothes in brighter colors.
- Do a spa day by yourself. Do all of the things you don’t have time to do during the week. Give yourself a facial, do your nails, soak away stress in the tub, give yourself highlights, or just sleep the day away.
- Go shopping, by yourself. It could be for anything. New clothes, or just window shopping.
