Thanks to this cart, I’m from AB. For you, the reader, may have reason to be such a terrible grafhekel to this snazzy box, but the Honda can’t do.
By the relatively low and relatively broad construction of this typical 90’s bak thought I, the undersigned, some 23 years ago that this was a beast of a car. Stronger still: the Prelude made me more of an impression than the -then – brand-new Ferrari Testarossa, and it was quite a thrill to be on the road to come. Long story short: by the Prelude, I am as small snotneus of cars.
In the time that Honda still exciting and hot cars built (and supercars not endlessly delayed), the Japanese in 1991 with this fourth generation of the Prelude on the gpu. In Europe, this bad boy is available with a 2.0 (133 hp), 2.3 (160 hp) or 2.2 (185 hp) available, the latter of which was equipped with the famous VTEC system. Moreover, it was a four-wheel steering available. Not only great for handling, but -after some practice – also when I tight spots.
This successor of the Bassie and Adriaan-Prelude instituted without the klapkoplampjes and therefore also without stuck-on eyes and eyelashes, but in its place came a couple of nice all subgenres units. The lighting behind was also a shot in the rose (subjective, I know).
With the car handling was thanks to the nice stiff chassis, and the (optional) all-wheel steering very much in order and the engines were fine for each other. Somewhat negatively was the somewhat high list price; 60.000 guilders was early ’90’s a lot of money for a car. Furthermore, the space in the back is not on (but yes, coupé) and it was the power steering somewhat excited adjusted.
Outside of those things, we’re curious what you might have forgotten compartment. You know where you are.
FYI: The Prelude, which after the fourth generation, the fifth generation so, went back to a more angular design. Last came a mieters good copy over, check ‘m here.
