What appeared to be the remains of a glorified go-kart was ever a real Jag E-Type. Fortunately the historic Brit with a lot of love in all its capacity, resurrected.
What a decent language. But that may be because we are talking here about a Jaguar E-Type. The classic was the fifteenth copy with a steering wheel on the right side. The white E-Type rolled in 1961 of the band and served as a showcar at the Scottish Motor Show in the same year. As often with this kind of stories ended the car in the hands of a collector. By an unknown reason, hit the E-Type of forgotten about until three years ago. Classic Motor Cars (CMC) took the car in poor condition to Cernay, France. This was at the end of 2013.
We are now three years further and the white battered copy is completely restored. CMC has 2956 hours of work needed to put the car in a perfect original state. The car is the next few days to behold at the London Classic Car Show. Or the classic, at a later stage, possibly, will be auctioned is not known.
