Jaguar plant 6 ‘new’ Lightweight E-Types, 50 years after it occurred

Jaguar is still six E-Type Lightweights to build there in the ’60s never came. It is intended that they are exactly according to the original specification in 1963.
In February 1963 started Jaguar with a Lightweight E-type project, where a total of 18 special E-Types were planned, that by the use of aluminum, but less than 114 kg (250 lbs.) were lighter than the standard E-Types. The question that immediately comes to my mind: if it is exactly according to the old specs will be built, how come the thing than by the crash test?
