Questions and Answers
Many of the United Kingdom’s library authorities allow their readers to access books in digital formats. The Overdrive system is widely used and delivers books in the ePub format with Digital Rights Management Protection.
The Amazon Kindle platform uses it’s own format however other formats can be used through the [Kindle Personal Document Format][1]. Unfortunately the ePub format is not supported.
Fortunately using a combination of freely available tools books delivered by Overdrive in DRM protected ePub format can be accessed on a Kindle.
