Formula 1 legend Sir Jack Brabham (88) died

In his hometown In the Australian Gold Coast is a three-time Formula 1 champion Jack Brabham died. He was 88 years old.

Brabham experienced its glory days in the ’50s and ’60s; in 1959, he was the first driver that a championship won with the engine behind him instead of in front. This was in a Cooper T51. Later, in 1960 and 1967, he obtained his other two world titles. The last of these was in a private car, the Brabham BT19. This feat we will probably never be repeated.

Jack Brabham was the father of 3 sons, all three of the racevirus of their father, are present.
