NASA astronomers David Tholen, Scott Sheppard and Chad Trujillo discovered in our Solar system new dwarf planet. Celestial body, dubbed KH162 2015, is approximately 9.3 billion miles from the Sun, that is almost two times further than Pluto.
2015 KH162 diameter ranging from 400 to 800 kilometers, on a single revolution around the Sun, the object takes five hundred years. The facility was opened by located in the Hawaiian Islands telescope Keck. However, it chargeability dwarf planets, scientists will have to study it better.
We will remind, the international astronomical Union officially recognizes five dwarf planets in the Solar system. One of them, Ceres, orbits the Sun in the asteroid belt, located between Mars and Jupiter, the other (Pluto, Eris, Haumea and Makemake) are beyond the orbit of Neptune.
