In October 2015, Sony Mobile announced the start of distribution of conceptual development builds of the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for users of smartphones Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact. Then the beta program has spread to 10 thousand users in 11 countries — Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the UK, Ireland and Germany.
Now the beta program is expanding to yet another smartphone — the Xperia Z2 and in three countries — Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Note that users in 11 countries, participated in the conceptual testing of the Assembly will not be able to do so under the new program because they are actually different branches of software development.
