What is polluting PC Hooftstaat-tractor? This Range Rover is very clean.

At the IAA in Frankfurt, we in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Hybrid. Two hyrbides of Land Rover special performance drop. The well-known TDV6 engine in both models is linked to a 35 kW electric motor and an eight speed automatic transmission. Together, that would be 340 hp and 700 Nm produce. From 0 to 100 km/h in the Range Rover in 6,9 s, the Range Rover Sport will do just 6.7 s. The top is 218 km/h for the Range Rover and 225 km/h for the Sport.

With a weight of, respectively, 2394 kg 2372 kg, 120 kg of hybrid stuff, that’s pretty impressive. Especially when you consider that there is an official consumption of 1 to 15,6 realized. The emission is 26% lower than the regular TDV6 and for both models at 169 g/km.

There are no concessions in the interior, the entire space remains available. The same is true for the terreincapaciteiten. As the first diesel premium hybrid SUV, as Land Rover calls it, the Hybrid just as well by the mud boenderen as a regular model.

To prove the technique the brand 22 August to embark on the ‘Silk Trail’. A journey of 16,000 km, through 12 countries. This is a part of the original 6400 km long silk road between Asia and the Middelands Sea area included.
