Robin Frijns
Our fellow countryman Robin Frijns is, for now, ready with his performances in the GP2 class. Not due to a lack of talent, but because he’s not a very big bag with money on the table. Sad but true.

In the racing world is all about the pennies, look in the Formula 1, for example, but names like Pastor Maldonado and formerly Vitaly Petrov. They are bursting not of talent, but a bag with dollars neersmijten.

Robin Frijns drove this season, and at times the stars of heaven in the GP2, but to no avail. Frijns, who is the last weekend still test for Sauber did during the Young Drivers Test at Silverstone (where he was only two tenths slower than Hülkenberg), expressed his involuntary stop in the following, somewhat wry tweet:

Of course, this is not the last that we of the 1M-riding Observer to hear, talent always comes to the surface. But we see the Formula 3.5 champion ever in F1?

Update: Frijns’ place is taken by the Brit Adrian Queef-Hobbs

Update 2: and he’s back!
