Advent of Porsche Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS confirmed

It was of course a bit in the line of expectation, but thanks to a leaking insider at Porsche, we know it now for sure. Next year, the Boxster and Cayman as GTS on the market.

Compared to the Boxster S & Cayman S, the GTS models, around 15 hp extra and a slightly sportier appearance. Furthermore, the Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS can be equipped with 20-inch Carrera S wheels. A manual gearbox will be standard and a PDK transmission is optional. The digital unveiling is scheduled for march and april will both models be launched at an auto show.

During the internal presentation for American Porsche dealers also reveals that the Porsche Macan is available with two turbocharged engines (in the US). One with a capacity of 3.0-litres and with a content of 3.6-liter.

The third novelty of the presentation was that the Porsche 911 Targa an ingenious electrically operated roof. (via: jalopnik.com)
