Ford trolt Ferrari with the LaFord

His debut was in Detroit, but the Ford GT has Motown been abandoned today to settle down on the Swiss show floor. Something that Ferrari did not fail to notice.

We know the specs by now: in the middle is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, fed by two turbos. Ford is not very specific on the power output, and maintains the provisional on the ” more than 600 hp. Shifting is through a seven-speed box with double clutch. The body and monocoque are made of carbon built, with two subframes front and rear of aluminium. Also got the GT pushrod suspension, the same system that Formula 1 cars (and the Aventador) are equipped with adjustable ride height. The 20″wheels are special Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup2 tyres.

Because Ford its history is not forgotten, there was also an old GT40 of the stable and on the show floor.

The Rest of us have to Ford a standing ovation for the poster that they have hanging up. Beautiful, how the sixties rivalry between Ford and Ferrari back is alive and well.
