Tesla Roadster brings you now in one go to Berlin

The Tesla Roadster is already a while out of production, but Elon Musk forget his first buyers. They get a huge battery upgrade, causing the range of the Roadster to increase to 640 kilometres.

That sounds impressive and that is also because no other electric production car has the same range. The original Roadster took out all 395 miles, but that is with the upgrade suddenly a hard blow to more, as confirmed by Musk compared to AutoExpress. Tesla produced only the 2,600 Roadsters. The owners of these cars were already a half a year long, nice made by Musk, which they have ‘something special’ promised.

That special ‘get’ them in the form of a new battery, which, thanks to new techniques, more energy can hold. For comparison: the battery of the Roadster delivers 117 kWh per kilogram, while the Model S already 240 kWh. The new battery is in any case powerful enough to get in one go from Utrecht to Berlin to drive.
