Italian design house Bertone is bankrupt

It’s over and out for Bertone. The designer and bodybuilders of various legendary cars must have the doors really close.

Bertone had a leegrakende portfolio and and built, thus, within 5 years, a debt of approximately 31 million euro. The bankruptcy depends for a while in the air. Despite many rumors could in the short term, not a target business be found. The court in Turin was therefore forced the bankruptcy to speak. The brand rights stay in hands of the family Bertone.

We know Bertone, among other things, several Aston Martin’s, the Lancia Stratos, Lamborghini Miura, Citroen BX and Alfa Romeo GT. But also plenty of other models and conceptcars were designed and/or built by the famous Italian fashion house. We are flashing a little tear away and hope secretly that there is still a buyer appears.
