The Audi TT was first as a whole concept car unveiled in 1995. The production version was no poor substitute, and appeared in 1998. The second-generation TT appeared in 2006 and in 2014 succeeded by the third generation.
Of course it was the TT and the quattro available, but the less powerful versions are also only front wheel drive available. Sweets of the second-generation TT, the V6, TT-S and TT-RS with a delicious five cylinder under the hood.
Offer occassions
- The offer on AutoScout24 consists of about 140 copies of this generation of TT.
- 35% relates to the Roadster.
- Slightly more than 30% of the offer has a DSG automatic transmission.
- Three-quarters of the supply of the entry 1.8 and 2.0 TFSI.
- There are only a handful, diesel, TT-S and TT-Rsen to purchase.
- More than half has a built-in navigation system.
- The majority has the leather trim.
- Prices start at 14,000 euros.
Pros
- The styling, if you like.
- Modern technology.
- Both with quattro as the front wheel drive.
- Cabrio and coupe.
Issues
- Leather seats can uitlubberen.
- Check with a BOSE audio system or all the speakers are working properly.
- Look under the moveable spoiler or the paint there is good.
- The mechanism of the power windows will also fail.
- The S-tronic transmission may be susceptible to failure, the Mechatronic aansturingsunit touch regularly defective. The best way to test is in the file/ drive slowly with fluctuating speeds.
Oil consumption 2.0 TFSI engines: new piston rings would fix it, but that is so expensive that it is cheaper to occasionally get oil to throw.
