The 570 hp R8 is, according to Audi, the first production car with laser high beams.

The R8 LMX distinguishes itself in particular with the innovative lighting on board. The combination of LED and laser technology should be the driver an even better view of the road. The system is activated at 60 km/h and then produces a light beam with a color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin. Yep, it will be the brainiacs amongst you will probably have more to say.
