Winter time makes for more accidents

Last night at 3:00 pm is the winter time again. That means one hour longer weekend, but also more traffic accidents. Therefore, we should the winter time abolish?
According to the Foundation for Scientific Research of road Safety (SWOV) is better for road safety if we use the dst to assume as fixed time. Despite the fact that the time the ‘real time’, it leads to more accidents.
Especially cyclists and pedestrians are the victims. They are, respectively, two to three times as often as the victim of an accident. Of course, playing the bad weather, slippery roads and even shorter days as well. Yet dare the SWOV to say that the winter time is dangerous.
People are in the morning more alert than in the evening so it would be better that the evening was more light. By the daylight saving time all year long to apply is reached. The original idea behind daylight savings time is, however, that the energy would save, people would be less long their lights on. That hoped-for effect remained after the introduction, however.
How beautiful is it then, with the abolition of this whole system, of road accident victims to save? We forget not all the clocks to object, and with a bit of luck, also take the autoinbraken.
