Marketplace, it is one of the finest inventions on the internet. The only downside is that it is the (far)buyers are ever honesty is missing. So sometimes you get a brick instead of the promised iPhone, or go on a ‘buyers’ there with your thick Audi off. Like the day before yesterday in Lelystad.
When your car privately, want to sell, it is always to watch out blown. Therefore, it is useful to have a test drive, and at home the passports of the buyers in the interim in custody. Trust is good, control is better.
The couple that their 335 hp A8 4.2 FSI (D3), plate 10-ZR-GP, wanted to sell, held here the day before yesterday, a big hangover. The ‘interested’ men waited patiently for their moment, and when the owner as well as supervisor in the back wanted, he got a beech tree and went to the thieves stealing his car off. A chase with another car to no avail.
The police is looking for a gaunt white man with crooked teeth and a big bald black man of about 26 years’ old. Moreover, it is (was) a prominent sticker on the bumper (where is that tropical party?!). The description probably helps better than to say that you are looking for a gray Audi. Find the criminal!
Have you ever a dishonest buyer/seller is experienced at an online sale? And what measures do you take to ensure that your stuff not under your body from nicked? Let us know in the comments!
Update 14-08: In the comments we saw in the past and that the car has not been registered as stolen, and so mailed we are the rightful owners equally. To this comment (forgive the caps-terror for this one time) to see, is the Audi neatly back where it should be.
