You know, those rich British dentist who his whole collection at one time wanted to sell? Jaguar Land Rover is the lucky new owner.

The autoverzameling of Hull includes, in addition to a lot of memorabilia, and a complete fleet of trapwagentjes, 543 cars, and there are gems of British automotive history. Think of a zwikkie E-type, XKSS and a few D-types. Incidentally, there are still many more beautiful cars of other top British brands on the list, such as a couple of Bentley Mulliner Continental’s from 1954 and a lot of early Land Rovers and Range Rovers.

John Edwards, the director of the recently established Special Vehicle Operations justified the purchase as follows: “We share the same objective as James to keep this unique collection in British hands, and we are delighted this agreement secures their custody for the future. We look forward to continuing to work with James going forward as we develop our heritage activities.”.

JLR is so, for example, just as BMW and Audi are busy with a jolly ol’ trip down memory lane by giving more attention to the heritage of the brand. The company would be the cars like put on events all over the world. The price of the company for the collection has paid, incidentally, is not officially disclosed, but previous estimates of the value of the collection amounted to about £ 100 million.
