Profile MacRumors reported the first details about the design of the next generation of Apple’s smartphone — the iPhone 7. The resource refers to some sources that were previously provided reliable information. According to these data, the overall appearance of the iPhone 7 will be the same as the design of the iPhone 6 and 6s, with the exception of two changes.

The first change is the back camera will not protrude from the housing, as is done in the iPhone 6 and 6s. The iPhone 7 is more thin the camera module, this will make the body smooth, without awkward protrusions. Recent rumors pointed to the possibility of dual cameras in older models of the iPhone 7 Plus, but a smaller iPhone 7 will get a more traditional camera.
The second significant change in design — no plastic inserts across the back panel. These inserts were made internally, to improve the quality of signal reception. Now the back panel will be made entirely of metal, but inserts on the sides, the top and bottom will continue.
The sources could not say MacRumors iPhone will be thinner. The thickness reduction is traditionally expected from the next generation iPhone, but even if it will remain the same, the lack of additional protrusion for the camera, many users will find marked improvement.
