Oh boy, the Mad Max series is being revived with a fresh and so to see the most spectacular new film. The final creative bankruptcy of Hollowwood, or secretly still very fat? View the trailert and judge for yourself.

The Mad Max movies were the final breakthrough for Mel Gibson. In ’79 came part I, with a very young Gibson who was in his Australian accent knauwde, and a few years later, the excellent second part, The Road Warrior. Part 3 (Beyond the Thunderdome) from 1985, we will be very quickly forgotten. Also there was recently a Mad Max game.

Next year, exactly 30 years after the senseless spectacle of Mad Max 3, follows a reboot. The special thing about it is that the movie is full of CGI, a little bit in the style of ‘300’. The lead drew Tom Hardy, known as Handsome Bob from Guy Ritchies Rock n Rolla and is known as a bald man with a weird mask named Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Also Charlize Theron has associated with the project.

Also, the film is a typically Dutch touch: Tom Holkenborg, a.k.a. Junkie XL takes his place behind the mixing for the soundtrack.

It can be, or is each Mad Max without Mel Gibson sacrilege? It speaks for the movie that director George Miller, the regiseeur of all the previous sections, once again the director takes on. Trailer on autojunk!
