Don't sleep and drive
More than a quarter of the Dutch motorists and truck drivers will ever get sleepy on stage, assuming that the alertness comes naturally during the drive.

Only forty percent of the people who are extremely sleepy in the car (or truck) get decision then to switch to a train to grab on the bike to go. The rest assumes that the alertness and sharpness that are needed in the movement “itself come back” as once one is on the way, something which in practice turns out to be incorrect.

This is evident from research among 1,500 people by the NSWO (Dutch Foundation for Sleep and Waakonderzoek), that a survey in the framework of the National Slaapweek 2015. One in ten drivers indicates so sleepy that it is actually irresponsible is to drive, reports the Telegraph on the basis of this research. Only 43% of motorists always equipped during the drive.

Fatigue can be as dangerous as alcohol in terms of impact on the drive, but there is much less on prevention, and less spoken about. Step you ever get tired behind the wheel when you know you are actually too tired to be good to be able to drive?
