The circumstances under which this happened were, however, slightly less strange than the first fikkende Tesla.

When some time ago a Model’s flame caught in the U.S. (after a crash) stood on his hind legs because of the ‘strange’ circumstances. In the end it’s all a storm in a glass of water.

Recently in Mexico a Model S to a fiery death died after a crash. In Merida crashed a Model S at high speed against a speed ramp, turn, and flew through the air, went through a wall and came up against a tree to rest. The owner was then quickly off their feet and shone under the influence of alcohol. The PR department on Tesla got the best man to speak to and let know the following:

“We were able to contact the driver quickly and are pleased that he is safe. This was a significant accident where the car was traveling at such a high speed that it smashed through a concrete wall and then hit a large tree, yet the driver walked away from the car with no permanent injury. He is appreciative of the safety and performance of the car and has asked if we can expedite delivery of his next Model S.”

Given the fact that this is a pretty serious mistake was made, it is perhaps not surprising that there is a fire arose, though opponents this is undoubtedly very different to explain. (via: axisofoversteer.com)
