BMW is going to this lovely 3.0 CSL honor with a special Z4

A BMW 3.0 CSL ‘Batmobile’ on the public road is not to be despised, the raceversie for the IMSA GT Championship is even better. The wielkastverbreders and a front spoiler, where many snowplow envy, make the already not sour spoilerpakket of the 3.0 CSL in a brilliant way. Especially in Motorsport colours, the CSL is a true party to see. Credits scored the 3.0 CSL not only with its looks, this he built with an impressive roll of honour of victories. Perhaps the most beautiful victory is that during the 12 hours of Sebring in 1975, behind the wheel, among others Hans-Joachim Stuck.

The rekenwonders among us all, that is exactly 40 years ago. Reason for BMW to make this beautiful car even in the limelight during the Amelia Island Coucours d’elegance. They do that not only by the car itself on Amelia Island to park, they reveal also a special Z4 GTLM race car with livery inspired by the 3.0 CSL IMSA racer.

Very nice of course, but we are curious if the result is just as bold as the Vision Gran Turismo in Motorsport colours, a concept which, unfortunately, only in the racing game Gran Turismo 6.
