With the top of an F1 racer. And you are allowed 1 guess who that is.

Rijkenlijstjes, everyone is fond of it. Quote has his thingy here is already done, but also abroad, an annual Rich List published. The Sunday Times (login) to do this in the Uk, and published today the full list and a bit earlier in a separate sportmannenlijst. In the top 10 are 2 names from the Formula 1 world, on place 1 and 3.

Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton burps the best, he has, according to the current exchange rate about € 123 million (88 million GBP). The Brit, who up until now every F1 race this season as best qualified, record a pole position in the rijkenlijst, thanks to a princely salary and sponsorship deals with o.a. IWC (bells) and Bombardier (airplanes). With so much incoming cash flow, there may still be a P1, Zonda or Ritz.

Button

Jenson Button, last year second, it is now #3 with an estimated wealth of £ 99 million (71 million GBP). Incidentally, the Uk tax authorities here are very low: both Hamilton as Button living in Monaco.

Below, the full sportmannenlijst (via). To put things into perspective: none of us is allowed to join the top 1000 richest ‘British’ (broadly defined), because the cut is at 100 million GBP.
