Cuckoo!
As we approach the final days *cough* not so many Waves have posted, we do another one, and what for one. Oettinger took a 300 hp VW Golf R, wipte the 2.0 TSI out of it, and stopped with a 2.5 TFSI in the first place. With a larger turbocharger, by the way, so the power on – wait for it – 381 kW (518 PS). The maximum torque of the vierwielaandrijver is 680 Nm.
The 100 mm wider made Golf does 0-100 with manual gearbox in 3.9 seconds (with DSG is theoretically 3,4 s), and extracts a peak of above 300 km/h. Thick 380 mm brake discs are responsible for the delay, and the 20″ ATS wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx in 275/25 R20 at trackdays to be replaced by the 18″ copies with Dunlop Direzza in 285/30 R18.
This ridiculously hot Wave is to be admired on…understand: the Wörthersee treffen. If the power you are disappointing, wait for versions with 600 to 750 hp, which, according to Oettinger in the barrel sit. Cost a godsvermogen, but then you have something.
