Thousands of Syrians flee offensive

ISTANBUL –

More than 3000 Syrians are the last few days the border with Turkey crossed, on the run for advancing Syrian troops in the northern province of Latakia. It comes to Turkmen and Arabs, according to the Turkish rampenorganisatie AFAD Monday.

The expectation is that some thousands of others to Turkey. A camp that mainly Turkmen houses in the Syrian village of Yamadi, was evacuated. The troops of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to draw on, supported by Russian air strikes.
