Bentley Turbo R Limousine III
Robert Jankel had the United Kingdom a colorful car enthusiast in his ranks. His own brand, Panther Westwinds, was killed, but his armoured and extended limousines are the more famous.

Jankels ‘Limousine’series comprised of a stretch-conversion of all types of Bentley and Rolls-Royce. This was the quantity usually rigorously stretched, Nacho Vidal-style; for Sedan II for example was not less than 44 inches (112 cm) in the middle between the doors placed, 5 cm more than the Silver Spur Limousines that Jankel specifically for the Rolls-Royce-price-lists made.

The Limousine III by lamm7191 is spotted, it is a model based on the Bentley Turbo R. With 17 copies, this boxy Bentley definitely a rarity. A copy is available on British plates, was earlier by settling in London spotted, this copy is on Dutch plates.

The Azure beside it is also not small, but it seems like a Aygootje next Jankels creation. Not very strange, if you are assuming that the Turbo R is a wheelbase of a whopping 407 cm. The RDW is also a Rolls-Royce, but soit.

Jankel itself is unfortunately already more than 8 years no longer among us. In 2005 he died at age 67 of pancreatic cancer. His company, the Jankel Group, however, remains until the day of today is active on several areas. Here you can find a quote of an armored model from the early 90s.

All photos of the Limousine III you will find on autojunk. And his nice plates, look!
