Porsche 911 Plug-In
If you thought that there are still a few sacred cows that were which was not kicked, then you are wrong. A plug-in Porsche 911 is closer than you think.

This year, the decision must fall whether or not a plug-in hybrid version of the Porsche 911, says Porsche’s CEO Matthias Mueller to Automotive News. “Why not?” continues the ceo, “we have a lot of experience with this technique by Porsche.” According to Mueller, we should plug-in’s are also not per se as a means to see to save fuel, but mainly as a way to have the ability to give an extra boost.

That proved Porsche with the 918 Spyder, with a combined power of 887 hp. But the focus on power in spite of, the 918 Spyder will only 14 percent to be added. The same tax also applies to Porsche’s other plug-in’s, the Panamera and Cayenne S E-Hybrid. The focus is not only on more power. With three plug-in models, there are only a few manufacturers with as much experience with stekkerauto’s as Porsche.

There is also a 911 plug-in is thought, is less strange than it seems. So would a conventional rear-wheel drive Porsche 911, with one or two electric motors on the front axle are an effective way to a four-wheel drive version. Mueller sees plug-in technology as the solution for the near future, 911 plug-in will most likely so come. Who knows, maybe a 911 commercial drive ever interesting…
