The Rover Yutu, or “Jade rabbit”, was the first envoy of China on the surface of the natural satellite of the Earth. Moreover, he became the first Rover for the last 40 years, which has been on the moon since the end of Soviet Lunokhod-2 in may 1973. Since the moon landing in 2013 WiTu has done a lot of research work and sent to Earth amazing photos of the lunar surface, which were published by the China center for the study of the moon and deep space.
Original full-color photos have been published on the official Chinese website where they can download whatever, passing the registration process. It is not surprising that the photos quickly made the rounds on Western news portals.
