Opel Adam S: 150 hp, and a roof spoiler

The most important Adam news in Geneva is for Opel probably the efficient 1.0 driepitter, but secretly we find these Adam’s more fun. He gets 150 horsepower from a blown 1.4, and looks with its sporty accents and fat rims like fun!

If Opel are big Adam in line with the past, a name was given, it was a GSi (Kadett FTW!), but apparently, had the marketers ‘better pelvis.

The direct injected 150 hp strong block delivers a good 220 Nm, that to the 18 inch bevelgde 225/35 front tires will be sent. Opel knows like no other that you rims your car make or crack.

In the interior we find lightweight Recaro’s, nice finishvlagfrutsels above your head and of course the necessary S-logos. Thanks to its specs is the S a step higher than, for example, a Clio GT with 120 hp, and you can, perhaps, best compared to the Abarth stuff.

And then the key question: is this the upper Adam, or we get a OPC?

UPDATE 17-09-2014: Apparently this is a ‘Concept’ but Opel announced today that the exact same specs found in the production model. That is found at the Paris motor show. The order books for the new Opel ADAM S open at the end of this year. The beginning of 2015 arrives at the Dutch dealers.
